Wine Sales Representative / Account Representative

7 Cellars is looking to hire a Wine Sales Representative / Account Representative to grow wine sales across restaurant, hotel, retail, and hospitality accounts in Grand Cayman. We are a local company interested in hiring Caymanians, Permanent Residents, and persons already legally entitled to work in the Cayman Islands. Preference will be given to applicants who have current or recent experience in the local wine, beverage, hospitality, restaurant, hotel, retail, or customer-account management sectors. Applications that cannot clearly demonstrate that the applicant meets or exceeds the minimum requirements should not apply.

Minimum requirements

• Relevant wine qualification, wine training, and strong demonstrable wine knowledge.
• Proven wine-sales, beverage-sales, hospitality, or customer experience.
• Knowledge and experience working with, Cayman Islands hospitality, restaurant, hotel, retail, or beverage accounts.
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to travel to customer accounts across the Grand Cayman.
• Professional appearance, punctuality, reliability, and ability to work independently.

Wine Knowledge Assessment Applicants who meet or exceed the minimum requirements may be invited to interview with a qualified sommelier. As part of the interview process, applicants should be prepared to demonstrate wine knowledge at a level broadly aligned with WSET Level 3, including grape varieties, key wine regions, wine styles, tasting ability, food and wine pairing, service standards, and the ability to communicate wine confidently to hospitality, retail, and trade customers.
