Job Description: Sales Associate Role Overview We are seeking a commercially driven and detail-oriented Sales Associate with a strong background in procurement, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will support the sales function by identifying client needs, developing tailored solutions, and managing relationships to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Support the end-to-end sales process, from initial client engagement through to proposal development and deal closure Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Identify customer requirements and translate them into commercially viable solutions Assist in the preparation of proposals, tenders, and pricing models aligned to client needs Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure solution feasibility and profitability Manage and track sales opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion Contribute to contract negotiations, ensuring favourable commercial terms and risk mitigation Support account management activities to drive client retention and upsell opportunities Maintain accurate reporting on pipeline, forecasts, and sales performance metrics Key Skills & Experience Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, or commercial roles, with exposure to sales or client-facing responsibilities Strong negotiation and commercial acumen, with the ability to deliver cost-effective solutions Experience working with tenders, contracts, and supplier negotiations Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business units and seniority levels Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences Strong analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail Experience working within fast-paced, multi-project environments Desirable Experience Background in IT, or managed services environments Experience supporting high-value contracts and large-scale projects Knowledge of budget management, forecasting, and financial analysis Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools Key Competencies Commercial awareness and strategic thinking Relationship building and stakeholder management Problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset Adaptability and ability to work under pressure Strong negotiation and influencing skills Bi-Lingual
