Litigation Associate

We are a newly established boutique law firm in the Cayman Islands, focused on complex commercial litigation and insolvency matters within the financial services sector. Eldridge Legal LLP is founded by a Chambers & Partners Band 1 ranked litigator with over 20 years’ experience in the Cayman Islands, including as former Global Co-Head of Dispute Resolution & Insolvency at the world’s largest offshore law firm. We are building a genuinely top-tier boutique firm: focused, nimble, highly selective, and uncompromising on quality. We are building a low‑leverage firm with a focused team of exceptional lawyers who think strategically, act decisively, and deliver outstanding results for our clients.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an associate with strong experience in Cayman Islands financial services disputes, including insolvency-related litigation. You will work directly with experienced senior lawyers who are focused on developing top junior talent.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 2–6 years’ post-qualification experience in a leading offshore law firm
• Experience in Cayman Islands financial services litigation and insolvency
• Strong academic background and technical grounding
• Excellent written and analytical skills
• Comfortable developing strategy as well as executing on it
• Motivated, accountable and intellectually curious
