Company: Success Group Ltd T/A Success Contractors Position: Mason/Carpenter Location: George Town, Cayman Islands Salary: CI$14.00 per hour, paid monthly Hours of Work: 45 hours per week (Full-Time) Vacancies: 1 Success Group Ltd T/A Success Contractors is seeking a qualified and experienced Mason/Carpenter to join our construction team in George Town, Cayman Islands. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of masonry and carpentry duties in support of residential and commercial construction projects while ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with all applicable safety standards.
Perform masonry and carpentry work on residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Construct, install, repair, and maintain buildings and structures using brick, concrete, wood, and other construction materials. Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stones, and similar materials to construct walls, foundations, partitions, and other structures. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble construction materials according to project specifications. Prepare and mix mortar, cement, and other construction materials as required. Install doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, roofing materials, drywall, and related fixtures. Build and install frameworks, formwork, partitions, and structural components. Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans. Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently. Repair and maintain existing masonry and wooden structures. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and project specifications are met. Collaborate with supervisors and other construction personnel to complete projects within established timelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Comply with all workplace health and safety regulations and company policies. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Must possess at least ten (10) years of proven experience in masonry and carpentry work. Demonstrated competence, reliability, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction specifications. Proficient in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying construction materials. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
