JANITOR

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Janitor to join Emerald Cleaning Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across assigned facilities by performing a variety of general cleaning and maintenance duties. Key Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing assigned areas. Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, common areas, and other designated facilities. Empty garbage bins and ensure the proper collection and disposal of waste. Restock cleaning supplies and consumables as required. Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times. Identify and promptly report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards. Comply with all workplace health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures. Deliver professional cleaning services while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Requirements Previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively. Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic. Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, carrying, and operating cleaning equipment.
