The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of facilities. Key responsibilities include conducting regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs, potential hazards, and compliance requirements. The role involves diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and replacing defective components within mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as required. The Maintenance Technician will also undertake general facilities maintenance tasks, including minor carpentry, painting, and other building repairs to maintain the condition and appearance of company premises. In addition, the successful candidate will respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with established health and safety procedures. The role requires maintaining accurate maintenance records, documenting repairs and completed work, and assisting with the planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.
