Kitchen Helpers/ Dishwashers

Key responsibilities are, but not limited to

• Manually washing large pots and dishes
• Ensuring the kitchen and workstation are clean and sanitized at all times
• Cleaning and maintaining back areas and appliances
• Upholding high hygiene standards for the kitchen and its equipment
• Assisting with basic food preparation as needed
• Following cleaning and safety procedures at all times
• Maintaining effective communication among staff in a secure and friendly environment
• Establishing and maintaining effective interdepartmental working relationships
• Serving customers in a pleasant and professional manner
• Keeping the workspace, equipment, and utensils clean and organized at all times
• Upholding the company’s cleanliness standards
• Maintaining impeccable personal presentation and uniforms at all times
• Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Staying organized and effectively managing the workspace
• Providing feedback and reporting issues as they arise
• Consistently displaying a positive, "can-do" attitude
• Carrying out any additional tasks required by management

The successful candidate will have

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a restaurant
• Basic knowledge of food preparation
• Ability to speak, write, and comprehend English fluently
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multicultural team
• Energy, enthusiasm, adaptability, and a willingness to learn
• Availability to work split shifts starting at 6:30 AM on weekdays
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as needed
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 50 lbs
