Job Description

The duration of this temporary assignment will be for 6 months. The successful candidate(s) will perform a range of tasks that assist in the recruitment and selection process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will

  • Prepare and post job advertisements that accurately reflect position descriptions, required competencies, and skillsets;
  • Assist with collating job applications, ensuring that all applications received are relayed to the appropriate repository and sorted for efficient tracking;
  • Conduct pre-screenings and background checks to assist with the filtering of candidates for various competitions by assessing their aptitude, relevant knowledge, skills, qualifications and certifications;
  • Support HRIS data clean‑up initiatives by reviewing, validating, and updating employee and recruitment records to ensure data accuracy and completeness;
  • Assist with an audit review of recruitment competitions to ensure all required documentation is on file, properly completed, and signed in accordance with policy; and
  • Participate in other HR projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • An Associates Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent certification; and
  • Two (2) – Three (3) years’ experience and demonstrated performance capabilities, working in a financial services entity or recruitment agency, having experience with conducting interviews, reviewing, and assessing suitable candidates;
  • Strong technical skills and comfort working with HR information systems and databases such as VISTA.
  • Proficiency with writing fluent prose, using correct grammar; professionalism and fluency with verbal communication;
  • Knowledge of human resources administrative procedures;
  • Sound working knowledge of recruitment and selection procedures;
  • Excellent organizational skills to accomplish tasks and projects with minimal supervision; and
  • Excellent level of computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
