We require an experienced Pipe Fitter with knowledge of piping systems and NFPA 13 codes with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Key Responsibilities include
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine pipe layout and system requirements.
Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to the required shapes and sizes.
Assemble and install piping systems, including valves, fittings and supports.
Repair and maintain existing piping systems and replace defective components.
Use hand and power tools, welding and brazing equipment as required.
Ensure work complies with safety regulations, building codes and industry standards.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics and scale drawings according to specifications.
Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials and installation techniques, including NFPA 13 codes.
Experience with welding, threading and pipe fabrication.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Physical stamina to work outdoors and in confined spaces, with the ability to lift 50 lb or more.
Ability to work independently with no supervision.
