F&B Host/Hostess- Bonny Moon Beach Club

We are accepting applications for the following position

FOOD & BEVERAGE HOST/HOSTESS

The Food & Beverage Host/Hostess will be the face of our restaurant and responsible for customers' arrival experience, actively managing the restaurant floor plan and seating allocations of all guests.

RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE

• Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter's name
• Use visual cues to seat guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference
• Inform guests of current promotions and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff
• Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service
• Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas
• Tend to special guest needs and requests
• Observant to guests' needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service (i.e. notice a drink refill is needed while seating another guest and ensuring the drink is refilled prior to getting back to the door)
• Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages
• Receive payments by validating credit charges and cash payments
• Reconcile cash drawer by managing cash transactions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a high-volume restaurant is essential as a Host/Hostess
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in environment with time constraints
• Ability to troubleshoot effectively
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, performing work accurately and efficiently
• Must maintain a professional image
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs; sit, stand, walk for an extended period of time
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including outside of normal business hours (i.e. evenings, weekends and public holidays, as needed)
• Be able to work inside and outside under various weather conditions
• A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team
