Work closely with managers to gain a full understanding of the company’s hiring needs and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations.
Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles, ensuring we hire and retain quality talent.
Review, maintain, and update job descriptions, interview forms, and other recruitment materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Post job advertisements internally and externally across platforms such as JobsCayman, the company’s careers site, and social media channels.
Ensure all recruitment is conducted in a fair and transparent manner, giving priority consideration to Caymanians and applicants with the Right to Work, and carried out in full compliance with employment legislation, data protection requirements, and company policies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of applicants, interviews, and recruitment activity.
Perform all pre-employment checks and coordinate with HR Admins on onboarding and new hire processes.
Partner with HR, Marketing, and Managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies.
Represent Kirk Market at recruitment campaigns, job fairs, and community events to increase awareness of our culture and career opportunities, with particular focus on engaging Caymanian candidates.
Provide weekly recruitment reports and updates to HR and management teams.
Participate in HR projects and provide general support to the HR team as required.
Job Requirements
Diploma or degree in Human Resources (desired), Business Administration, or a related field.
1–2 years of proven recruitment experience (experience within food retail or hospitality is an advantage but not required).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet search.
Ability to use initiative, act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and HRIS.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
