Black Friday Outlet is seeking an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Senior Inventory Control Clerk (Retail Operations) to support the day-to-day inventory operations of our fast-paced retail business. The successful applicant will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming merchandise, maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing warehouse inventory, replenishing stock, and ensuring inventory is handled efficiently from receipt through sale.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and shipping documentation. Coordinate the unloading and safe handling of imported merchandise. Organize, label, and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure efficient storage and retrieval. Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement logs. Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies. Replenish merchandise on the sales floor to maintain product availability. Rotate inventory and ensure merchandise is properly organized and displayed. Assist with merchandising displays and product placement. Prepare customer collection orders and online orders for dispatch. Report damaged, defective, or missing merchandise promptly. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and receiving area. Follow established inventory control procedures and workplace health and safety requirements. Perform other inventory-related duties as assigned.
Minimum five (5) years' experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, stock management, retail logistics, or a closely related field. Demonstrated experience receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory within a warehouse or retail environment. Experience in high-volume retail inventory operations, warehouse receiving, or logistics is preferred. Strong inventory reconciliation and record-keeping skills. Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and inventory management software. Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to accurately count, reconcile, and maintain inventory records. Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the workday. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced retail environment. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and accountability in handling inventory and company assets. Successful applicants must be able to obtain a satisfactory police clearance. A valid Cayman Islands driver's licence, or the ability to obtain one, is preferred.
