Service Technician

• Cleaning, adjusting, replacing, installing and repairing HVAC systems, and performing warranty services.
• Troubleshooting defective HVAC systems and equipment to make diagnoses.
• Performing preventative maintenance on various HVAC systems.
• Improving air quality
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Keeping daily logs and records of maintenance functions.
• Maintaining service truck.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical inspection and maintenance on equipment to bring them to optimal performance
• Serve as a company representative to other contractors, owners, and trades
• Give preventive maintenance inspections performed to representative/owner and suggest corrective actions to be applied
• Give advice on additional services to customers that may be beneficial to them
• Complete and submit needed paperwork in a timely manner to the service coordinator
• Perform other functions that may be assigned by the service coordinator or manager.
• Service and repair various HVAC systems such as central ducted, mini split, VRF and light commercial air handlers. condensers, piping and controls
• Residential and Commercial, New Construction and Existing Build jobsites
• Assists in training of new employees on installation related subjects.
• Performs related duties as directed by the applicable Job Foreman or Project Manager.
• Keep tools needed in trade up to date.
• Cross training in all aspects of HVAC and refrigeration

The Incumbent must have the following skills and experience

• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documents
• Knowledge of different types of HVAC systems and their components
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Thorough understanding of related trades for the purposes of coordinating various project estimates
• Deadline arid detail-oriented
• 4-5 years experience in residential HVAC mechanical trade
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent organization skills
• Solid knowledge of the construction process
• Fluent English is a Must
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office Package)
• Excellent presentation skills
• Cayman Islands Driver's License
