About the Role SEAROCK BAR AND RESTAURANT is seeking an experienced Chef specialized in Sri Lankan, Indian, and Asian cuisine to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring authentic regional knowledge, creativity, and technical expertise to deliver high-quality dishes with traditional flavours and modern presentation. Key Duties Prepare and cook authentic Sri Lankan, Indian, and Asian dishes using traditional methods, spices, and ingredients. Plan and execute daily menus, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish. Supervise kitchen staff, manage food preparation, and ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor stock levels, control food costs, and maintain proper storage and hygiene standards. Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulations. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal specials. Requirements Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Chef specializing in Sri Lankan, Indian, or Asian cuisine. Strong knowledge of regional cooking techniques, spice blends, and presentation standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment. Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required. Clean Police Clearance and two (2) recent reference letters required. Desirable Assets Formal culinary certification or experience in a multicultural restaurant environment will be considered an advantage.
