Loeb Smith Attorneys, a fast growing corporate law firm with offices in the Cayman Islands, the BVI and Hong Kong requires a Development Manager to help to implement and oversee the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of regulatory and compliance projects for the Firm’s clients and to manage, retain, and grow relationships with key clients, including creating Joint Impact Plans for high-value clients. The successful candidate will be pivotal to developing compliance, corporate governance, regulatory policies and procedures for the Firm’s relationship with its clients and ensuring a seamless information flow between clients, the Firm’s legal team, and other stakeholders. The person will in particular focus with the Firm’s clients in China who are particularly impacted by The Cayman Islands International Tax Co-operation (Economic Substance) Act (As Revised) (the “Economic Substance Act”) and who will need to visit and have staff in the Cayman Islands to comply with the Economic Substance Act. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. Strong communication and organizational skills. Must have experience in communicating through letters, emails and calls with business clients. Must have at least 3-4 years’ experience working in a professional service firm or a commercial business as client liaison.
