Deputy Chief Executive Officer – Office of the CEO The Deputy Chief Executive Officer (“Deputy CEO”) is a primary support to the Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) in acting strategically and tactically to determine the direction of and drive the strategic vision for CIMA. The Deputy CEO supports the CEO to ensure that CIMA creates and enforces a regulatory framework that instils confidence and upholds the reputation of the Cayman Islands as a major financial centre. The post holder has the responsibility for the oversight of legal and enforcement, supervisory, and operational areas through the Chief Legal affairs, Enforcement and AML/CFT Officer (“Chief LEA Officer”), Chief Supervision Officer (“CSO”) and Chief Operations Officer (“COO”) respectively and for ensuring that the relevant divisions operate effectively and efficiently carrying out CIMA’s functions.
