AC Duct Fabricator

Ductfab Cayman Ltd is looking for Air Conditioning Duct Fabricators to work on various residential and commercial construction projects in the Cayman Islands. The AC Duct Fabricator is responsible for fabricating air conditioning ductwork including Palduct, rigid duct, steel duct, flex duct, galvanized duct, etc for subsequent installation on various construction projects. The fabrication works may be performed on job sites or within our warehouse/fabrication shop.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience fabricating all types of HVAC ductwork including galvanized steel, ductboard, fiberglass duct and Kingspan rigid duct systems
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to read blueprints and construction sketches as well as interpreting manufacturer technical drawings
• Relevant trade qualification preferred
• Ability to work overtime, on public holidays and weekends as needed to meet job site demands
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure with strict time constraints and deadlines
• Must be neat & tidy and take an exceptional amount of pride in your work
• Working as part of a dedicated and experienced team so must be able to work closely with other members and train and mentor junior techs where necessary
• Must be able to communicate in English both written and spoken
• Must be able to provide at least 2 references for experience/qualifications
