Cleaner/ Janitor

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner/Janitor to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of our building. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning, maintenance, and basic security duties to ensure the facility remains in a clean, orderly, and functional environment. Responsibilities

Clean and maintain designated areas of the building, including

Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors Cleaning ceiling vents and surfaces Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks Carry out heavy cleaning duties and special cleaning projects when required Identify deficiencies and report repair needs to management Perform minor repairs and adjustments when appropriate Maintain and organize supply and storage rooms Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and readily available Cooperate and communicate effectively with staff and management Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals Ensure doors and windows are secured after completing work Clean spills using appropriate equipment and procedures Remove construction debris and other waste materials when necessary Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash Complete assigned tasks promptly with minimal supervision Coordinate with contract cleaning services when required Scope of Work Maintain the building in a clean, safe, and well-maintained condition Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors regularly Clean and restock restroom supplies Handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly Support a clean and professional working environment Requirements Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment Understanding of safe handling of cleaning chemicals Ability to work independently and efficiently Strong attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
