Carpenter

Highly skilled finish carpenter with experience in the installation of commercial frames doors, and hardware. Be able to work at journeyman level in the installation and maintenance of wood, metal and other customized door assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial doors according to specifications and blueprints
• Ensure doors are level, plumb, and square to ensure proper operation
• Install door hardware including locks, handles, and hinges
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction with installation
• Perform job site clean-up and dispose of waste materials properly
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately
• Experience in installation of commercial doors, frames, and hardware
• Physical ability to lift heavy doors and operate hand and power tools
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to follow them strictly
• Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any installation issues
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as per project requirements
