TILER

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tiler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing wall and floor tiles in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The Tiler will prepare surfaces, measure and cut tiles, apply adhesives, and ensure high-quality finishes that meet project specifications and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Measure and mark surfaces to determine tile layout. Prepare floors, walls, and other surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and waterproofing where required. Cut and shape tiles using hand tools and power equipment. Mix, apply, and spread adhesives, mortar, and grout. Install ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and other tile materials. Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and finishing of tile installations. Repair and replace damaged tiles as needed. Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures. Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and other tradespeople. Requirements Proven experience as a Tiler or similar role. Knowledge of tile installation techniques, materials, and tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry materials. Good problem-solving and time-management skills. Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices. Valid driver's license (preferred). Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in tiling/construction is an advantage. Relevant trade experience preferred. Working Conditions Work may be performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Requires standing, kneeling, bending, climbing, and lifting for extended periods. May involve travel to different job sites.
