Gardener

The successful applicant’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general lawn mowing; planting and maintaining flowers, trees, shrubs, vegetables, and herbs; designing and planning garden layouts; selecting appropriate plants; arranging pathways; mulching; tree cutting; flower trimming; and overall site cleanup, including weed and debris removal. The successful applicant is also responsible for ensuring adequate irrigation, monitoring soil moisture levels, and maintaining all gardening tools and equipment. In addition, the successful applicant will be expected to perform skilled gardening and landscaping duties consistent with extensive practical experience. These duties include diagnosing and treating common plant diseases and pest issues; applying fertilizers and soil treatments as needed; pruning and maintaining mature trees, hedges, and ornamental plants; operating landscaping machinery and power tools safely and effectively; planning seasonal planting and garden maintenance activities; maintaining healthy lawns and garden beds; and assisting with landscape improvements to enhance the overall appearance and upkeep of the property. The successful applicant must ensure that all gardening tasks are completed efficiently and to a high professional standard.
