This is a full-time position responsible for performing a variety of duties involving warehouse operations, facility maintenance, groundskeeping, cleaning, inventory control, and customer service. The position averages approximately 195 hours per month, with overtime required as needed. This role helps ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the business while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, safety, and sanitation.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting wage is CI$8.75 per hour. Overtime pay, public holiday pay, annual vacation, health insurance, pension contributions, sick leave, and all other statutory benefits will be provided in accordance with Cayman Islands labor laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, unload, and stock inventory in the warehouse and retail store.
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory reporting and stock control.
Collect and clear shipments from ports and other locations as required.
Assist customers in a professional and courteous manner when needed.
Handle food products, including cutting and packing meat in accordance with food safety standards.
Clean, sanitize, and maintain all equipment and machinery before and after use.
Keep all work areas, storage areas, buildings, and grounds clean, organized, and sanitary at all times.
Perform general cleaning and maintenance of business premises, including indoor and outdoor areas.
Carry out groundskeeping duties, including upkeep of company lands and surrounding areas.
Dispose of garbage and waste materials at approved government disposal facilities when required.
Perform general maintenance and upkeep of company vehicles.
Assist with the maintenance and repair of store equipment and facilities as needed.
Follow all company safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Clean police record/background check.
Ability to lift and move inventory, equipment, and supplies as required.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar capacity involving warehouse operations, cleaning, maintenance, inventory control, or related duties.
Working Conditions
This position involves a combination of warehouse work, customer service, food handling, cleaning, groundskeeping, and general maintenance duties. The role may require standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying heavy merchandise and materials, and working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
