Painter/Carpenter

Wellington’s Renovations and Maintenance, is a small Caymanian-owned business that engages in general maintenance, repairs, and renovations. The company seeks a Painter/Carpenter to cut, fabricate, and install wooden and other structures according to specifications and paint them. The job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products. The ideal candidate will also have a good knowledge of wood properties, color paints, and other carpentry materials. The candidate must be able to work with little to no supervision while following all health and safety standards. The goal is to contribute to constructing and maintaining strong and long-lasting buildings and products for their clientele. A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience is required. The candidate must be able to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds, etc.). Good hand-eye coordination and familiarity with power tools and machinery are a plus. The candidate must also have good communication and teamwork skills.
