Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description – Heavy Equipment Operator We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Quarry Operations team. The successful candidate will safely operate a variety of heavy, motorized equipment, including excavators, loaders, bulldozer and other machinery, to support daily quarry activities.

Key Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to load, unload, and disperse materials. Inspect equipment before and after use, documenting and reporting any issues with condition or performance. Maintain accurate logs and records related to equipment operation. Assist with cleaning, fueling, and servicing equipment, including checking oil, fluids, and other necessary maintenance tasks. Follow all site safety protocols and maintain situational awareness while operating machinery.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a quarry, construction, or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
