Early Childhood Educator

Position Overview: Precious Gems Preschool is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Early Childhood Educator to support the learning and development of young children in a stimulating and safe environment. This role involves providing high-quality early education while fostering children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, well-being, and emotional security of all children.
• Implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning, curiosity, and development.
• Plan and execute engaging lessons aligned with early childhood education standards.
• Work closely with other teachers to ensure cohesive learning experiences.
• Communicate effectively with parents to provide updates on their child’s progress and development.
• Guide children's behavior in a patient and understanding manner.
• Incorporate digital tools and technology into lessons and communication when applicable.
• Assist the centre with meeting the needs of all SEN/ALSN students in compliance with government regulations.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVET Qualification, Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in early childhood education.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate leadership when needed.
• Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth and development.
• Experience supporting children with additional learning support needs
